Within the required 30 hours, 20 can be earned through self-study, while at least 10 must be earned in the classroom setting. There are topical requirements licensees must fulfill: three hours of the required 30 need to be on ethics, three hours need to be on clinical social work, and an additional hour must be spent on the child abuse and neglect report training.
