Within the required 45 hours, all of which must come from Board-approved activities, which include: continuing education classes offered by approved entities, college courses, presentations for other mental health professionals (up to six hours), and attendance at Board meetings (up to three hours). In addition, at least three of the 45 hours need to be on professional ethics and another three hours on suicide prevention and intervention.
